Preschool - 6th Grade

At St. Peter’s, children are valued as full participating members of the Body of Christ who are invited to join in the worship and fellowship of the larger church. Our children also have the opportunity to participate in Sunday morning Bible study, service projects, special seasonal programs, and fellowship events. We offer materials for at-home worship and family devotions for Lent and Advent.

Sunday morning Bible Study

Following the three-year story rotation in the Weaving God's Promises curriculum, each week we share a Bible story and prayer. Then the children are invited to choose from a variety of response activities. A different type of activity is offered each week, including:

  • Art
  • Science
  • Cooking
  • Games

Children may also choose to work with Godly Play story pieces or craft materials.

We gather at the beginning of the Sunday 10:00 a.m. service; children join their families to participate in the great feast of Holy Communion. The first Sunday of each month, children are invited to join the celebrant around the altar to assist in the Eucharistic celebration.
